Infinity War Review.

Marvels Infinity War has been out for over a month now and since I saw it literally the ay it came out, its probably about time that I wrote a review on how I found it. I think I was permanently in shock over the ending, which made me unable to talk about it. Oh and the whole exams, essays and projects that I had to do – it was a little insane last month, but its all settled down now, so here we are.

So as I said, I went to go see Marvels Avengers Infinity War on April 27th, the day it came out to the public. I didn’t go to the Midnight showing or anything, but I went in the evening with a huge group of friends. I had to book weeks in advance because it was so crazy busy. I don’t blame it for being so. I was insanely excited about this film as soon as Civil War came out and was over with. I just love Marvel films and so when I talked with my friends and we al decided that even though it was exam season we would go, I booked it.

I dont want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t seen it so I’ll try my absolute hardest to not include any spoilers, but I will just put a brief SPOILER WARNING here, just incase I write something you thing tells a little too much.

Okay so right off the bat, I’ve got admit I loved the inclusion of so many characters in this film, however (and yes I fear there is a however here) I fear there may have been a few too many. There was so little screen time for characters like Captain America and Black Widow, that it kind of felt lacking a little. I missed them. Instead we got loads of Thor, Ironman, Spiderman and of cause Thanos, which is of course the point. It just felt like they tried to put a bit to much in a short time. Oh thats not to say thats technically a bad thing. The action was going at all times and I was always on the edge of my seat – which I personally love with action films. I just missed certain characters.

That being said I loved the relationship between Spiderman and Iron-Man. We saw it build up a lot in Spiderman Homecoming and I think its honestly a brilliant father-son like relationship. I do love their characters. But it was the relationship between Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and Vision that I really wanted to see more of. Their relationship is so sweet and pure, and I just wanted throughout the movie to see more of them. Im a little bias though, I love Wanda.

The actual story line, I must admit was fast pace. If you went out to go to the bathroom, especially at the end, you would come back having missed so much! I loved it though and though it was more fast paced or action packed than some the previous films, it really kept you engaged with it. Plus the music was fantastic, although not nearly as fun as the Guardians of the Galaxy – although they are stepping up their game a lot with that.

I also loved the new combination of the Guardians of the Galaxy in with the Avengers and Black Panther and some other big names in the Marvel world. The Guardians especially really added something, especially humour which was definitely needed with the more serious base storyline – “Why is Gamora?!”

I dont really want to say too much about the ending, as I dont want to ruin it at all for those who have yet to see it. But Oh my goodness! I left that cinema shellshocked. Now dont get me wrong, I loved the ending, but I cant believe that I have to wait a whole year until the next one. I need to find out what happens. its so shocking and dramatic, I had no idea what to do or think. But dont get me wrong – I loved it. It was so different from the usual Superhero storyline.

Overall, I really enjoyed the film, and I will probably give it a 9/10 or a 5/5. Thank you so much for reading. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve seen Infinity war and what you thought.
