January is coming to an end, but I realised that though I’ve got my New Year’s Resolutions, I haven’t actually put up a post about the new year yet. So, I thought it was about time that I acknowledged the new year and made a little list of my goals for this year. This year is definitely looking like it’s going to be a rather eventful year. This is the year I am going to finish university and graduate (hopefully!), the year I get a proper adult job (hopefully!) and when life really begins. So, this is my little 2019 bucket list!
This is something that I am Genuinely terrified of, but I’m so determined to do it. I really want to be able to help people in need and blood is definitely something I can offer. I feel like giving blood is something so selfless and easy for a person to do in order to save a life. I’ve actually already booked an appointment, so wish me luck! I’ll let you guys know how it goes.
Pass My Degree with Honours
Soon enough, June will come around and in June my course will be over. No more essays, no more exams, no more long lectures that I’m just waiting will end just so I can get lunch. I will be out in the real world. Either way or another, that’s how it’s going to be. But I really want to pass this degree well. In July, I really want to graduate with honours.
Get a Job
Honestly this is my biggest worry this year. After I finish university, I just want to find a good job. It’s really hard to find any jobs or schemes, but fingers crossed I can find it.
Go to Disneyland Paris for my Birthday
This year I am turning 21 and all I want is to be able to go to Disneyland Paris for my birthday. I know it’s really expensive, so I’m planning on going with Jenny for a couple of days. We’ll see what we can find. I really want to be able to spend my birthday doing something I love. I’ll keep you updated about it all.
Eat Healthier and a more varied diet.
This year I’m trying really hard to vary my diet at university. I’ve been trying to vary the food and meals I’ve been eating. Usually I tend to keep to the same 4 meals over and over, and god I’m so bored of it! So, I’ve been looking up recipes and I’ve also tried HelloFresh. Either way, I’m going for more varied – less pasta-based diet. Wish me luck!
So those are some of my smaller goals for this year. Realistically, they are all so achievable if I put in the hard work and effort. I do have more smaller ones, which maybe if I have a moment Ill note down for you, but these are the big ones. Happy New Year guys and thanks for reading!! xx
