My Disneyland Paris Bucket List!

I mentioned a while ago that this year I my celebrating my 21stbirthday and the one place in the world I want to celebrate, is Disneyland. Unfortunately, as a student, I can’t afford to fly all the way to Florida to stay at Walt Disney World Orlando – like I would love to. Instead, Jenny and I have arranged and booked to go to Disneyland Paris. And I can’t wait! I know it’s the smaller version of Disney, but it’s honestly going to still be amazing! There are so many things in Euro-Disney, that they don’t have in Florida. In preparation, I have put together a little bucket list of all the things I really want to do while I’m there.

1| Rides

The rides are a huge bit of Disneyland anywhere, but there are a few rides that Florida doesn’t have. I have some key rides on my list; Ratatouille, Crush’s Coaster, Hyperspace mountain (so much better in  Paris!), Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates and the Caribbean, Buss Lightyears Laser Blast and Indiana Jones of course!

2| Shows

When I went to Disney in America, I actually tried to spend time going to some shows rather than just rushing around rides. I really loved them, so I’m going to spend some time on this trip going to see some shows. High on my list is the Moteurs… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular and if we have time, I’d love to see Mickey and the Magician.

3| Eat at Bistro Chez Remy!

One of my biggest plans is to eat out one night at one of the nice restaurants at the parks. Now Disneyland Paris is rather infamous for their shockingly bad food. But, restaurants like Bistro Chez Remy, Walt’s and Captain Jack’s are well known for being rather good! Main aim is to get to at least one, maybe 2?

4| Mickey Ears!

In Florida, I fell in love with the Minnie and Mickey ears that you could buy. But I could find a particular pair that I really wanted. That was until the Purple Potion ears came out and now, I really want those for the photos! Hopefully I can pick some up on the first day!

5| Merchandise

There is something so satisfying for me about Disney merch. I love shopping for it, browsing and it genuinely makes me so happy. You can ask the 5 Disney plush on my bed if you don’t believe me – haha. Seriously though. It’s my birthday. Of course, I’m going to buy some things. Plus, I have tradition to uphold. I need to get my traditional key chain and maybe I’ll get some pins this time.

6| Illuminations

You can’t beat the Disney firework shows. It’s a fact. Disney Magic Kingdom fireworks are literally the best things on this earth. And I need to see them this trip at least once! You just can’t have a Disney trip without the fireworks show.

7| Disney Stars on Parade

Somehow, while I was in Walt Disney World Florida, I managed to miss the parade! I don’t know how that happened, only that it wont happen again! So this time I am determind to see the parade. I was thinking about booking Walts for when the parade is on and watching from the window, but I wasn’t sure. I know I did that once with my parents, and that went well. But we’ll see

8|Disneyland Photoshoot!

Finally, the last bit thing on my bucket list to do a mini photoshoot in both of the parks! I’m so lucky that I’ve got the fabulous Jenny coming with me because she’s an amazing photographer! Hopefully we can get some cute shots.

So that’s my general bucket list for our trip. We’re only there for about 2.5 days, so I hope we can get everything done in the time we have. I’m so excited for our trip and if you have any good suggestions please do let me know in the comments below.

You have to make sure you see Mickey and the Magician it’s such an amazing show and won’t take long out of your day! Are you staying in a Disney hotel? If you are I’d say make use of Extra Magic Hours to get in a couple of rides, I’ve done two Disneyland Paris trip reports on my blog recently if you’re interested!

I’ll definitely put it on my must see list! Unfortunately we aren’t staying in a Disney hotel, I really wanted to but by the time I went to book the prices had doubled. Such a shame. But maybe next time! Thanks! I’ll make sure to go check them out for some tips!! -H xx
